Cripes! I nearly forgot the repeat! My lovely friend texted me this morning to let me know it was on. I think she's a Darren convert after seeing the tour last year.

I have to say that I haven't seen Buzzcocks for years...what the heck happened? Since when has it become the 'Mark Lamarr show'? It used to be quite funny at times, but the quiz part of it seems to have been almost obliterated now. No wonder poor Darren was a bit uncomfortable - he probably didn't understand this 'British' humour, if you can call it that! I certainly didn't get it! What was the boat all about?

Next time there's a chat could somebody please ask the question - 'is Mark Lamarr as big a t***** as he seemed to be on that programme? Would love to hear the answer.

Personally I think Mark Lamarr is an absolute slimeball [img]graemlins/thumbs_down.gif[/img] I heard from various people who actually went to the recording of the show that he made particularly degrading and humiliating remarks about some of the guests behind their backs (not Darren) when they asked to be excused for comfort breaks. At least if you are going to say that kind of stuff, say it to their faces! He isn't funny at all IMO.

Yeah, he's a bit of a twat but I love Bill Bailey and Phill Jupitus so they kinda cancel him out! *lol*

I still think that D was way out of his depth on there though - I don't think he realised what he was letting himself in for.

Oh I agree, I'm sure Darren had no idea of the kind of humour on that programme. Still, he did OK on some of the questions. He just looked rather uncomfortable throughout much of it.

Darren's Beach Boys impression was spot on! And yes, I agree Mark Lamarr is a complete wanker (or he comes across as one, anyway).
